THE OLD COURT CHURCH
- the oldest religious monument in Bucharest
- it is interesting to notice the presence of Moldavian architectural elements, as well as the presence of stone bas-reliefs which date from Constantin Brancoveanu's reign (1715)
THE PATRIARCHAL CATHEDRAL
- building of impressive dimensions, it was started between 1654- 1658 and finished seven years later
THE HISTORY MUSEUM
- built between 1894 - 1900, on the ruins of an inn which had been destroyed during a fire in 1847
THE ROMANIAN OPERA HOUSE
- having a 1200 seats capacity, it was inaugurated in 1953
THE VICTORIA PALACE
- it was founded in 1937, and today it is the headquarters of the Romanian Government
THE VILLAGE MUSEUM
- built in 1936 by Dimitrie Gusti, it is one of the most interesting outdoor ethnographic parks in the world
